Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon’s holiday comedy Four Christmases took in $31.1 million, to open as the top weekend movie. Four Christmases beat out Bolt, Twilight, and Quantum of Solace at the box office.

The 32-year-old actress spent Thanksgiving with boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal and actress pal Gwyneth Paltrow, while ex-husband Ryan Phillippe spent Thanksgiving with their children.

The 32-year-old actress spent Thanksgiving with boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal and actress pal Gwyneth Paltrow at a party thrown by British architect Richard Rogers.

Reese recently told the BBC that she’s going to limit the number of gifts her kids get for Christmas this year. She said, “I’m a little strict about that kind of stuff. I think kids do best when they only have a couple of things that they really enjoy. I try and stay away from the gluttony of things. They don’t appreciate it as much. When they only get one or two things they really like it.”

Gwyneth Paltrow spends Thanksgiving with Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon at a party thrown by British architect Richard Rogers (neon green shirt and bright blue Crocs) at his Chelsea home in London on Thursday.

Also spotted at the party was Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi’s ex-husband, Indian-British novelist Salman Rushdie and presumably one of his sons.

When asked if she’s bad at anything, Reese replied, “I’m a terrible driver. Horrible. I get into car wrecks and get speeding tickets all the time. I’ve sent a lot of baskets to a lot of police officers.”

Asked if she’ll ever get married again? “I don’t know,” she said, laughing. “I don’t think about it much.”

The 32-year-old actress was spotted holding hands with her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal last week after they had breakfast together.

Reese was just announced as the first presenter for The 42nd Annual CMA Awards, which airs live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

The Legally Blond star first appeared on the CMA Awards in 2005, when she co-presented an Award with Joaquin Phoenix, who just announced his retirement from Hollywood.
