






The Cornu Helicopter, designed by French engineer Paul Cornu in 1907 and the world's first manned aircraft taking off vertically, is displayed during the exhibition marking the centenary of the French aerospace industry on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, France, Oct. 4, 2008. The exhibition, lasting from Oct. 4 to 12, was organized by the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS).
