Christina Aguilera channels her inner Clockwork Orange while celebrating her 28th birthday with husband Jordan Bratman at Italian restaurant Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The birthday girl was all decked out in white as Clockwork’s Alex, complete with suspenders, cane and a bowl hat.

Guests at the party included Nicole Richie and partner Joel Madden, as well as Paris Hilton and her on-and-off-again boyfriend Benji Madden.

Christina Aguilera is the latest celebrity to speak out against California’s Proposition 8, which eliminates the right of same-sex couples to marry. The ballot measure overturns a state Supreme Court ruling that briefly gave same-sex couples the right to wed.

She told MTV, “Last night, there was a whole rally that I saw for Prop. 8. A lot of people came out with their signs, and I think [Prop. 8] is discrimination and I don’t understand how people can be so closed-minded and so judgmental. We chose an African-American president, and it means so much … [it's] a time in history of great change and open-mindedness. Why is this any different? It just doesn’t make sense to me. Why you would put so much money behind something [aimed at] stopping from people loving each other and bonding together? I just don’t understand it. It’s hard for me to grasp. But I would’ve been out there with my rally sign as well.”

Christina ended with, “Mormons aren’t gonna buy my album but, you know, what are you gonna do?”

Christina’s new album, Keeps Getting’ Better – A Decade of Hits, goes on sale exclusively at Target starting Tuesday, Nov. 11. Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+, saying, “The singer has banished melisma and belting from these electronic confections, and her chops sound just as hot set on simmer. The real curiosity is a ‘Beautiful’ redo that imagines how John Lennon might’ve sounded if he’d lived into the age of electro.”

Peep this new preview video of Christina Aguilera’s “Keeps Gettin’ Better” music video. The song is the first single off her upcoming greatest hits album Keeps Gettin’ Better - A Decade of Hits.

The director for the music video was Peter Berg, the same director of the movie Hancock, which starred Will Smith.

The video is scheduled to premiere this Monday, October 27th.

Christina Aguilera, husband Jordan Bratman and their son Max Liron, 9 months, catch a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles en route to London on Friday.

This Tuesday, October 14, the 27-year-old singer will perform at the UK’s Royal Albert Hall for The Africa Rising Festival sponsored by Nigerian newspaper THISDAY.
