Beyonce and Jay-Z take in the sights at the Art Basel Miami exhibition, a prestigious international art show, held at the Miami Beach Convention Center in the city’s Art Deco district on Thursday.

Strolling through the galleries, Beyonce (elegant in heels and a royal blue dress) and Jay-Z (dressed more casually in jeans) showed a wide range of reactions to the eclectic art being exhibited.

Perhaps the superstar couple was there to find something new for their walls at home!

Beyonce rocks out another flawless performance of “Single Ladies” at The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old singer/actress told Ellen DeGeneres that being married to rapper Jay-Z is “great.” As for babies, Beyonce told Ellen, “One day, maybe.”

“I was there in the delivery room [for my little sister Solange] and it kind of traumatized me,” Beyonce admitted. “I said please don’t have me in the room. And she said, ‘You have to. I’m your sister. Stop being so silly.’ Well, I was right!”

Beyonce sports her cyborg hand as she shows talk show host Tyra Banks where that ring should go after the performance of her hit song “Singles Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”.

Look, Tyra is pointing at the wrong finger! Hah!

Beyonce will help NBC kicks off the holiday season on Wednesday, December 3 (8-9PM ET/PT) with the lighting of the world’s most famous Christmas tree during the 11th annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” telecast.

Today’s Al Rokerwill host the live holiday celebration of the 76th Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The star-studded annual tree lighting extravaganza will also have performances of current hits and holiday classics from David Cook, Jonas Brothers, Faith Hill, Tony Bennett, Neil Boyd, Harry Connick Jr., Rosie O’Donnell and The Broadway Kids, Rascal Flatts and Solange Knowles.

It was just announced that Beyonce will perform at the 2008 American Music Awards.

This marks her third time performing on the AMAs. She joins previously announced performers Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey, Coldplay, New Kids on the Block, Pussycat Dolls, P!nk, The Fray and Annie Lennox — who will receive the special Award of Merit.

The AMAs will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, November 23 @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Beyonce also is the triple cover girl for V Magazine’s latest issue.

Beyonce has expressed her Amazonian ambitions, telling the LA Times that she wants to be the first black Wonder Woman. In fact, she’s already in talks with DC Comics and Warner Bros!

She tells the paper, “I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman? It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”

Beyonce continues, “After doing these roles that were so emotional (Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records) I was thinking to myself, ‘OK, I need to be a superhero.’ Although, when you think about the psychology of the heroes in the films these days, they are still a lot of work, of course, and emotional. But there’s also an action element that I would enjoy.”

As for costuming, Beyonce wants to stick to the original: “I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume. The way that Lynda Carter wore it, she was sooo fine. She was amazing. I saw her costume at the Met. Her waist was unbelievable. It was pretty crazy, actually, her proportions. But I love Wonder Woman and it’d be a dream come true to be that character. It sure would be handy to have that lasso. To make everybody tell the truth? I need that. It would come in very handy.”

If America’s ready for a black President, maybe a black Wonder Woman isn’t so far off.

Beyonce watched the election results on Tuesday at home with friends and family – while wearing a blue suit and tie with matching red, white and blue stilettos.

“I’ve never been so patriotic!” she said. Beyonce was completely overwhelmed after hearing about Obama’s win: “I fell asleep crying and smiling at the same time … I woke up with mascara running and a smile on my face!”

A solo Beyonce catches a departing flight out of JFK airport in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.

Last night, the 27-year-old singer/actress made a surprise appearance at Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert in New Jersey.

At the end of husband Jay-Z’s headlining set, which also featured recently recovered DJ AA, Beyonce took the stage to perform a shortened version of her hit song “Single Ladies.” Before heading offstage, Beyonce threw up the Roc-A-Fella sign (Jay-Z’s label).

Beyonce is set to hit the MTV Europe Music Awards stage next month.

Beyonce recently talked about Etta James, the character she’s playing the upcoming movie, Cadillac Records. She said, “Lyrically, it’s deeper than what I’ve done before. I wasn’t mature enough or old enough, or in touch with myself enough, to do this type of album before. I didn’t have the guts.”

Beyonce will release the Jake Nava-directed music videos for her two new singles “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” this Monday, October 13 via MTV, BET, VH1 and Fuse.

“It’s kind of like Freaky Friday,” Beyonce tells Billboard of the concept behind the “If I Were a Boy” vid, where she plays a police officer. “In the beginning of the video, my husband makes me breakfast and he’s excited about it, and I kind of don’t have time to eat. As a police officer, I have a male partner and the video goes through our days. My husband’s at work and has attractive girls flirting with him but he declines their advances. I have a guy flirting with me, and I flirt back.”

Beyonce adds, “It’s about all of the little things that mean so much in a relationship. At the end of the clip, you realize that I was acting out his life, and it all starts over again. He was a cop and everything that happened was really him doing the same thing to me.”
