Jennifer Aniston opens up about her boyfriend, musician John Mayer, to UK’s The Mirror. Interview highlights:

On the way John thinks: “He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him… the way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts… it’s beautiful.”

On having a thing for the musically inclined: “It’s an amazing thing to watch a musician think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. It’s something I’ve never ever seen before.”

On not understanding the continued public interest in her break-up with Brad Pitt: “I’m baffled by it and it makes no sense to me…. Everybody goes through tough times… You’ve just got to figure out how to get through them… It’s my history and my memory. I used to really take things personally. It took me some time to figure this out but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life.”

On her finances: “I don’t wake up in the morning, stretch my arms and say, ‘Oh, I’m wealthy.’ I just know I’m extremely fortunate and I have the good fortune to take care of my family, to give to causes that matter to me and to contribute in ways not everybody can. I’ve never been someone to have money as my goal. I just wanted to work.”

On having her own kids some day: “I feel it’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, so it was great to dip the toe in [for Marley & Me]. I want to have children. That’s my plan.”

Radiohead, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Sullivan, and John Mayer all got five Grammy nominations each.

“I think the Oscars for years had a grand announcement to drum up excitement about their event, and it’s great to see that music is getting that same treatment now,” Mayer said. “I need to just go away. I’m tired of me. You see me so much on the blogs, I mean, come on,” he said of the media attention.

The 39-year-old actress appeared in an interview with Oprah Winfrey today and proclaimed, “I’ve been unbelievably lucky in love!” (when asked about boyfriend John Mayer) The former Friends star appeared at ease and genuinely happy throughout her appearance.

She also confirmed that she isn’t pregnant, and thus, killed the other rumor that she’s having twins!

John Mayer, aka Jennifer Aniston’s on-again boyfriend, will host a weekly variety show for CBS, reports TMZ.

The 31-year-old musician will produce his own show with Ken Ehrlich, who also produces the Emmys and Grammys. The ’60s-inspired sketch show is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2009.

Reps for both Mayer and CBS declined to confirm the news to JustJared.com.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are the latest couple to be having twins, reports Star Magazine.

The couple reportedly reunited last month and after a string of secret fertility treatments, Jennifer, 39, is pregnant with twins! A source tells the magazine, “He [John] ordered a bunch of books on Amazon about pregnancy and parenting. He’s just as eager as Jen is. They’ve discussed how they plan to raise their kids, and they agree on mostly everything. They can’t wait to be parents together.”

Another friend of the duo revealed that Jennifer has even changed her diet. “She’s taking a lot of folic acid and has upped her intake of milk and beef — all of which are supposed to increase your chances of having twins.”
